About the bush camp…
An hour east of nDzuti Safari Camp in an open Mopane forest lies a little bush camp with just meru style tents looking out over a clearing into the ethereal bright mopane woodlands. Basic but not so basic; the tents have en-suite bathrooms; open air but never shared, hot water and flush toilets. Sturdy beds and fine linen, floor mats and bedside tables furnish the stand-up-in height bow tents. Evening time guests are greeted from their drive by warmed towels, cold drinks and a delicious home cooked meal served by the fire side or in the thatched dining room.
Guests staying at Little nDzuti share access to the 8000plus hectares of the Greater Kruger Park we are privileged to have traverse upon, with the added value of some prime river frontage of the iconic Olifants River. The Maseke section of the Balule Game Reserve is famous for its superb lion and elephant sightings. Mopane veld is a great draw for Cape Buffalo too at certain times of the year, in fact all of the BIG FIVE can be encountered in this vast area as well as other favourites like giraffe and zebra, hippo and crocodiles. From Little nDzuti guests can choose to walk or to drive. Generally, we prefer to suggest a morning walk/ drive combination and an afternoon drive. Both outings are about 3 hours in duration and then during the heat of the day guests relax in camp at the splash pool or in the shady gardens keeping watch over the waterhole where the game comes down to drink.
Little nDzuti will open in mid-January and will be priced on a sliding scale allowing small groups exclusive use of this bush camp to pursue their own specific bush interest at their own pace surrounded by those the want to be with.
